Today I could not go to class, because I had a commitment in my teaching practice Center. However, Evelyn told me about what happened in classes, she told me that today there were two presentations, which I will talk about their topics, because I could not see my classmate’s performance.

1. Body language by Yara Faudez:

The body language from my point of view involves the following concepts: personality, positions, gestures, emotional control, expressiveness, tone of voice, body signals and Attitude. The human being not only communicates through the voice, but also th

rough the body. For teachers, this communication tool is essential in education, especially for young learner because they are visual.

I can also mention that the body language helps the understanding, because the body language is a support for what we are expressing through the voice, it can be through mimicry, signals, etc. catching the students’ attention and keep it, in this manner; to have concentrated to our students in our speech.

Finally, I think it is necessary to mention that it is a good tool. Nevertheless, in excess can become a bad entertainment that could harm the teaching process, because if the teacher uses many gestures when he/she speaks, the student’s attention will focus more on gestures instead of what the teacher is explaining.

2. Eduardo Maldonado talked about two projects in order to improve the education in Chile.

a) Innovation: it refers to pedagogical projects for innovation with capacity to design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate educational innovation projects using efficiently the human resources and materials in order to transform and improve the education.
